Project Overview

Site Survey - We meet with the donor and discuss which plots of land are most suitable for growing. After deciding on the plot, we take soil samples and test them to find if the ground is suitable for planting. We will also agree on the harvesting procedures at this time.

Preperation - If the samples test good, we begin to prepare the land. The land is tilled and any needed amendments (soil or natural fertilizers) are added. We install a low-maintenance drip irrigation system and add ground cover to prevent weeds. Seedlings are planted and the plot is ready to grow!

Upkeep - At least every 14 days, a group of volunteers will stop by to remove weeds and do any necessary pruning. We work around your schedule whenever possible.

Harvest - Come harvest time, we'll roll by with a vehicle, baskets, and people. Half the harvest will be given to you and half will be donated to a nonprofit food bank as a charitable donation.
